Jean Ann Reyburn

Jean Ann Reyburn (Osburn) was born June 7, 1936, at Hitchcock, Oklahoma, to Richard Leroy Osburn and Mary Osburn, and passed away Sunday, December 25, 2022, at the age of 86.

Although she was born to Richard Osburn, he passed away when she was only an infant and her mother, later, married Edward “Boots” Bortoluzzi

and together, they raised Jean Ann.

She attended and graduated from Hitchcock high school, after which she went on to attend and graduate from Southwestern Oklahoma State University with her bachelor’s degree in public education. She spent 12-13 years teaching, working at Greenfield, Geary, and Hinton schools. Jean was a member of the Hitchcock United Methodist Church in Hitchcock, Oklahoma. She married the love of her life, Earl Howard Reyburn at El Reno, Oklahoma, on September 7, 1956.

She is preceded in death by her parents, and her husband, Earl.

She is survived by three sons, Richard Reyburn and wife Ronda, of Sioux City, Iowa, Ronnie Reyburn of Watonga, Oklahoma and Randy Reyburn of Watonga, Oklahoma. Eight grandchildren, Misty Wangler, Aaron Reyburn, Amanda House, Kelli Taylor, Christopher Reyburn, Patrick Reyburn, Dalton Reyburn, and Carson Reyburn, as well as 16 great-grandchildren and numerous other relatives and friends.

Funeral services for Jean Reyburn will be held Wednesday, December 28, 2022, at 2p.m. at the Hitchcock United Methodist Church in Hitchcock, Oklahoma with Pastor Debbie Biehler officiating. Burial will follow at the I.O.O.F. Cemetery with Wilkinson Mortuary in charge of arrangements.
