In Memory of Carrie Ann Fisher
Carrie Ann Fisher was born July 19, 1970 to Langburn H. Fisher Jr. and Diana Cowan in Clinton , OK and passed away October 25, 2020 in her home from a lingering illness.
Carrie was raised in Watonga, Clinton, Custer City, and Colorado. She attended Watonga and Custer City schools before moving to Colorado, then later, returning to Oklahoma. Carrie was employed at Love’s, Hi De Ho Café, and the Watonga Hospital. She was a member of the Custer City Nazarene Church. She loved to watch game shows and really enjoyed the outdoors- she was always trying to catch her big catfish! She loved her pet, Ginger, but her true passion was watching her sons grow up.
Carrie is preceded in death by her father, Langburn H. Fisher Jr.; grandparents, Imogene (Chapman) Fisher and Langburn H. Fisher Sr.; grandmother, Cleo (Cowan) Gerber and Cecil Cowan; cousin, David Cowan.
She is survived by her mother Diana (Cowan) Conway; four sons, Edward Gordon Jr., Zackery Cochran, Stephan Coleman, and Patrick Kyle Gordon; her sister, Shelly (Fisher) Gould; two brothers, Justin Conway and Adam Conway; two granddaughters; Aunts, Norma Fisher, Yvonneda (Fisher) Thompson, Carol Ann Gowdy; great uncle, Rick Cowan.
Graveside Memorial services for Carrie Ann Fisher will be held Friday, November 6, 2020 at 2:00 P.M. at the I.O.O.F. Cemetery with Reverend Pat Gonzales officiating and Wilkinson Mortuary in charge of arrangements.
Social distancing will be practiced and the family ask that you wear your mask if you’re able to.
