KAREN SUE COX

Karen Sue Cox, 70 years old, went to her heavenly home with the Lord Jesus Christ on Saturday, March 30, 2019. She passed from this life, with her husband Bobby holding her hand at Mercy Hospital, Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.

Karen was born March 1, 1949, in Watonga, Oklahoma, to Loren L West and .Mary K West (Major). Her childhood years were in Anadarko, OK, Waurika, OK and Kingfisher, OK. Karen graduated from Kingfisher High School in 1967. She enjoyed family....

She was married March 14, 1968 in Stillwater, OK to Bobby Cox from Watonga, OK. Following a brief stay in Stillwater, Karen and Bobby moved to Watonga Oklahoma and joined family in a lifetime of farming around Watonga.

Karen is survived by her husband of 51 years , Bobby Cox. Her sister Lynda Yorgensen & husband David, Weatherford,Ok; Brother Loren (Buddy) West and wife Ruth, Frisco TX; step brother, Dean Johnson and wife Margie; Mother-in Law, Virginia Cox, Weatherford, Oklahoma; sister-in-law, Charlotte (Cox) Norwood and husband Larry, Georgetown, TX and nieces and nephews.

Karen is preceded in death by her son Robert S Cox, father Loren L West Sr, her mother Mary K Major.

A funeral service for Karen S. Cox will be held on Thursday, April 4, 2019 at 11:00 A.M. at Trinity Baptist Church 700 N Clarence Nash Blvd, Watonga, Oklahoma, 73772. Burial will follow in the I.O.O.F. Cemetery in Watonga.
